Mrs. Vicky Fortner has worked for the Perry County School System for 28 years.  During this time she has served as first grade teacher, kindergarten/first combined grade teacher, high school Home Economics teacher, System School Nutrition Supervisor, No Child Left Behind Director, Title I Director and Vocational Director.  She has a B.S. degree from The University of Tennessee at Martin in Vocational Home Economics Education, and a Master's of Elementary Education degree from Austin Peay State University with a minor in Reading.  In addition, she holds a Masters + 30 degree with endorsements in Administration/Supervision, Reading Specialist, and Professional School Food Service Administration.  Mrs. Fortner currently serves as School Nutrition Supervisor, Vocational Director, and Title VI nondiscrimination contact person.  She also chairs the school system Reading Task Force and is a member of the Perry County School System Strategic Plan Committee.
